Our Story
Chef Eric Greenspan's long-held love letter to the deli, MISH Delicatessen on La Brea is his most personal project yet. Long a cornerstone of community life, delicatessens have historically served as places to gather, linger, and return to daily. Mish reintroduces that spirit to Los Angeles, pairing the familiarity of the deli with a more contemporary approach to food, design, and experience. The menu balances Jewish culinary tradition with creativity through wood-fired bagels, hand-carved sandwiches, and market-driven dishes. Chef Dara Yu has created an extensive Babka and Jewish pastry program that anchors the MISH market. The beverage program, helmed by Julian Cox, features specialty coffees, cocktails and unique non-alcoholic options. Housed in an open, light-filled space designed for all-day use, Mish welcomes both those seeking a sense of nostalgia and a new generation of diners looking for something more dynamic, social, and reflective of how the city eats today.
